Elizabeth Myrtle Millet Roth passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 88 after a short illness. She was born in New Orleans on October 2, 1936. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Roth Goodner and husband, Mark Alan Goodner; her grandchildren, Benjamin Alan Goodner and wife, Rebecca Ford Goodner, Margaret Elizabeth Goodner, and Caroline Roth Goodner; her great grandchildren, Michael Alan Goodner, William Ford Goodner, and Caroline Elizabeth Goodner; her sister, Carolyn Valentine and husband, Leo Valentine; and sister-in-laws Rita McKee and husband Robert McKee, Rosemary Lawless, and Bernice Roth; special nieces and nephew Rebecca LeBlanc, Patricia Craig, and Jeffrey Valentine.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Roth, and her parents, Clinton Joseph Millet and Eliza Louque Millet. She grew up in Gramercy but lived most of her life in Baton Rouge. She was a devout Catholic and a founding member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, and nothing made her happier than a night at Superior Grill. She will be dearly missed by all who love her.
