Elodie Sharp

A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, at her home. She was 89 and a native of St. Gabriel. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Wednesday, June 29, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Paul A. McDuffie. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two sons and a daughterinlaw, R. Patrick and Suzy Sharp and Michael J. and Robin Sharp and two grandchildren, Ryan P. Sharp and wife Heather, and Courtney L. Sharp. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph P. Sharp Jr. parents, Nick and Cecile Elisar and brother, N.J. Elisar. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the care given at this time and a special thanks to Anice Wilson for all the care and other things done all these years.
