Eloise Dearmond

Eloise Bush DeArmond went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at 2:45 a.m. A native of Covington, she was retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, April 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by Dr. David Womack. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a daughter, Patricia Bateman and husband Paul; a son, Allen Dewitt DeArmond; three grandchildren and their spouses, Allison and Ken Roark, Angie and Patrick Hannie and Patrick and Molly Bateman; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Grace Gussman, of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Allen S. DeArmond; and parents, Dewitt and Ella Bush. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.
