Esther Beryl Jones Price

Beryl departed this earth on November 17, 2024. She was born on January 26, 1952, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Lester and Hazel Jones. She graduated from Trinity Baptist High School in Baton Rouge. She was united in marriage to Lee Holt Price in 1973, at Victoria Baptist Church in Baton Rouge and remained married to him throughout her life, never wavering in her commitment to her family. 

Beryl was a devoted daughter to her parents, a loving wife to her husband, a doting mother to her children, an adoring “Nana” to her grandchildren, and a supportive sister to her brothers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Jones. 

She is survived by her husband, her children Allyson Price Harriss (Granger) and Brent Holt Price (Jeanna), by her grandchildren Carter Holt Price, Cooper Holt Price and Anna Claire Price, and by her brothers C. R. “Bubba” Jones (Bonnie) and Gordan Jones (Tanya). 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m. Christian burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. 

Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Kevin Jones, Braden Jones, Colby Crawford, Garret Jones, Ross Jones, and Granger Harriss.
