Faye Marks

Loved by many, she was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. A native of Dalton, Ga., she died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 80. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Hugh Warren. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her daughter, Rhonda Lemoine and husband Hamilton; stepdaughter, Ruthanne Doerfler; two sons, Rodger Sutherland and wife Lisa and Dwain Sutherland and wife Roseanna; stepson, Robert Marks; sister, Nell Hanes; brother, Charles Moulton; four grandchildren, Nicole Fow and husband Corbett, Lindsay Mayo and husband Carl, Joshua Sutherland and Hudson Lemoine and wife Joanna; four stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Marks; parents, James and Faye Howell; and brother, Dare Moulton.
