Felicita Scafidas

Felicita Oliva Scafidas, entered into eternal peace on May 13, 2016. She was a native of Jalapa, Guatemala and a longtime residence of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Visitation with be at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m.

She is survived by her sister, Elida Conselo Oliva Rivera, her brother, Carlos Arturo Oliva Rivera and her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her friends who considered her family, especially the Arboleda family and the Stoufflet family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Scafidas, her parents Julio Oliva and Maria Rivera de Oliva.

Special thanks is extended to Dr. Genevieve F. Maronge M.D. and her staff. The staff of Our Lady of the Lake and The Carpenter House/ St. Joseph's Hospice for the excellent care they provided.
