Florence Leach
February 23, 1932 — July 8, 2015
Florence "Cal" Whitfield Leach passed peacefully, at the age of 83, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. She was born and raised in Bristol, LA, and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA.
Cal is preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil Whitfield and T. Harvey Whitfield; husbands, Arthur "Marlun" Roshto and Eugene "Gene" Leach; and son, Michael Leach.
She is survived by her sister, Jane Whitfield Carney of Rosemount, MN; cousin, Anna Ruth Savoie of Church Point, LA; sister-in-laws, Faye McKnight Whitfield and Jane Leach Matlock, both of Baton Rouge, LA; children, Donalyn Saxon & Ron, David Roshto & Nancy, and Art Roshto & Ann; grandchildren, Sam Saxon & Michelle, Tiffany Snee & Charles, Dan Saxon, and Thomas Roshto & Kristen; and seven precious great-grandchildren, Nicole, Landon, Taylor, Ava, Alexis, Reece & Reed.
A private service was held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you give a flower to another in honor of their mother.
