Floyd Harrix Cox, Jr.

Floyd Harris Cox, Jr., age 66, who was a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on February 22, 2015.

He is survived by his daughters, Angelia Nauman and husband, Jerry, Jackie Schlup, Felcia Adebamiji and husband, Dele; son, Dorsey Quillin and wife, Joni; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosa and Barbara; and brothers, Art and Mike.

Floyd is preceded in death by his wife for over 40 years, Syble Earlene Cox; his parents Floyd and Lucille Cox; and sister Becky June.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Friday, February 27, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
