Frank Shaw Gibbens, age 68, passed away after a short battle with cancer, Monday, June 14th, 2021, in his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born in Baton Rouge to Julian and Irene (Alexander) Gibbens and was the youngest of five children. After graduating from Baton Rouge High in 1971, Frank started working at Pittsburgh Paints where he began a long career in paint sales. Frank was known by his four grandchildren as “Pop”, and he would often surprise them with special lunch dates.
