Francis Louque

Francis Joseph Louque passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019 at the age of 86.  He was raised in Lutcher, Louisiana, but was a long time resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He retired from Ormet Corporation. He dedicated his retirement years to helping his family and friends.  Francis was a soft-spoken man … except during LSU football games.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years – Frances Louque; his 4 children – Susan Louque, Jeanne Louque, Michael Louque and his wife Kathy Morgan, and Lisa Louque; his 4 grandchildren – Brandon Wilkins and his wife Jordyn Wilkins, Chad Wilkins, Lindsey Louque, and Ryan Louque; and his 3 great-grandchildren – Trey Wilkins, Allie Wilkins, and Beau Wilkins.  He is preceded in death by his parents – Arthur and Clotilde Louque, brother – Kenneth Louque, and great-granddaughter – Sawyer Grace Wilkins.

A private family visitation and service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 followed by a burial at Resthaven Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Francis Louque to the American Diabetes Association at http://www.diabetes.org or Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area http://alzbr.org.
