Fred Hughes
January 7, 1927 — August 5, 2011
A retired employee of Agrico Chemical Co.Division of The Williams Corp,. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at his home. He was 84, a Navy veteran of World War II and a native of Bartow, Fla. Cryptside service with military honors will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum on Friday, Aug. 12, at 11 a.m. He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Todor and husband Joseph a granddaughter, Lacey Witte and husband Jacob and a greatgranddaughter, Leighton Witte. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenton Hughes and an infant son, Robert Garrison Hughes. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 381059956.
