Fred Roberts

Fred Dickerson Roberts, 81, of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 25th, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judith Roberts; twin brother Lewis Roberts (Bridget); sister-in-law Rose Roberts; two daughters Stephanie Roberts Will and Roxane Gregoire (Keith); and five grandchildren, Mallory Myers (Ryan), Brooke Planche (Cody), Makenna Gregoire, Olivia Will, and Parker Will, and five great-grandchildren, Sutton, Vinci, Bauer, Cullen, and Cooper. Preceded in death by his oldest brother Bill Roberts. Fred was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Saratoga and later worked at Ethel Corporation as an electrician. He liked to fish, hunt, and spend time with family. He was also an avid beekeeper for many years. The family would like to especially thank Diane, hospice nurses, and the staff at the VA Hospital.

Pallbearers will be, Keith Gregoire, Parker Will, Ryan Myers, Cody Planche, Jeff Camp, and Wally Roberts. Visitation and services honoring the life of Fred Roberts will be held at Resthaven Gardens, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
