Gail Vanderlick Giles

Gail Vanderlick Giles passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 82. She graduated with her master’s in education.

She is survived by her sons, Murray Giles and Brian Giles and wife Shannon; grandchildren, Riley Giles, Meredith Giles, Avery Giles, and Cassidy Giles; and siblings, Peggy Ewing, JC Vanderlick, and Paul Vanderlick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Giles; daughter, Angela Giles; parents, Jerome and Catherine Vanderlick; and grandchildren, Meghan and Morgan Giles.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at St. George Catholic Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
