Gayle Clement

Gayle Amedee Clement, age 85, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on January 23, 2022.

She retired from Dow Chemical in 1995. Gayle was a member at St. George Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Lanny; brothers, Lynn Amedee, Larry Amedee (Joyce), Barry Amedee (Kathy); sister-in-law, Gloria Boudreaux; brother-in-law, JD Rodosta, and three grandchildren, Trevor, Joseph, and Sara Clement.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Adrian Clement; daughter Allison Clement; parents, Joe E and Ruth Amedee; in-laws, Frank and Mary Clement; brothers-in-law, Frank Clement, Jr, and Hayward Boudreaux and sisters-in-law, Connie and Cecile Clement, Libby Verret, Judy Amedee and Iris Rodosta.

Visiting hours will take place at St. George Catholic Church on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 11:00 am until mass at 12:00 pm.  Burial will take place at Resthaven.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Joseph’s Academy Foundation or St. Vincent de Paul.
