George Bourg

George James Bourg Jim, native and resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away on August 3, 2012 at the age of 87. Jim is survived by his two sons and daughtersinlaw, Alan E. and Lesley Bourg, and Henry C. and Carol Ann Bourg daughter, Laura Bourg foster son, William and wife Pamela Allen sister, Jean M. Ellis and husband Albert brother, Jerry H. Bourg and wife Hilda seven grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Ciaran, Ephraim, and Eleanor and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Arda Becky Bourg son, John J. Bourg parents, Emile J. Sr. and Mabel T. Bourg two brothers, Emile J. Jr., and John R. Red Bourg. A graduate of Catholic High School and LSU with a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineer he was employed with Saia Electric for 20 years. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving in WWII. Jim was a member of I.B.E.W Local 995. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 9 am until religious service at 11 am. Burial will take place in Lakeland, Fl.
