George Donnard Williams

George Donnard Williams passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, in St. Gabriel, Louisiana at the age of 76. George was born on February 5, 1949, to Kirk and Bernadette Williams. George attended Louisiana State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business. He owned and operated a construction business for many years. George was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved to hunt and fish.

George was preceded in death by his spouse of 28 years, Laura Louise Scott; and his parents, Kirk E. and Bernadette Williams.

He is survived by his sons, Gregory Williams and Joe Griffin Williams; daughter, Marylee Williams Samii; and grandchildren, Ella Williams, Henderson Williams, Mary-Mayes Williams, Crawford Williams, Sadie Williams, and Kate Williams.
