Harold Chagnard, Jr.

A retired water treatment specialist for Dow Chemical and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 7 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. He was 61. Visiting at St. John Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Michael Alello. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Chagnard; mother, Marie Chagnard; four daughters, Terry Favaloro and husband Wesley II, Cheryl Lawrence and husband Lee, Ellen Martin and husband Chris and Julie Chagnard; and seven grandchildren, Trey, Reese and Brayden Favaloro, Courtney and Tyler Lawrence and Emily and Abby Martin. Preceded in death by his father, Harold Chagnard Sr. He was a member of the Cajun Classic Chevy Club and the Dow Retirement Club.
