Heaven De’Liylah McMorris was born sleeping on August 2, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to her loving parents, Domonique Melisa Thomas and Derrick Jamaine McMorris, Sr. Though her time with us was far too brief, she was deeply loved and cherished from the very beginning.

Heaven’s precious memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved her. Her little life made a forever impact, and she will always be remembered as our beautiful angel.

Heaven was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Se’Renity De’Ziyah McMorris, and her great-aunt, Sonia Thomas great-uncle Morris Micheal Thomas

Heaven leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents, Domonique Melisa Thomas and Derrick Jamaine McMorris, Sr.; her sister, Derriyeon McMorris; her brother, Derrick Jamaine McMorris, Jr.; her aunts, Alexxus Thomas, Destine’e Thomas, Alicya Thomas, Camryn Thomas, Diedra McMorris, and Danielle McMorris; her uncles, Devon Thomas, Alexx Thomas, Daylyn Thomas, and Eddie Thomas; her grandmothers, Anjanette Thomas and Linda McMorris; and her grandfathers, Ed McMorris and Jeffrey Stovall.

Though we only had you for a moment, Heaven, you will be loved for a lifetime. Your little life made a forever impact, and you will always be our precious angel.
