Irene Cashe

A retired accountant and a resident of Hammond where she lived with her son, Rodney Cashe and his wife, Dabney, she died at 9:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Hospice House-Hammond. She was 84, a native of Livonia and a former longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Monday, Dec. 22, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a son, Rodney Cashe and wife Dabney, of Hammond; four grandsons, Jeffrey Cashe and wife Sandra, Jason, Jarrod and Justin Cashe; and great-granddaughter, Isabelle Cashe. Preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Cashe; parents, Valda and Isabelle LeBeau; and a sister, Louella Witlow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Richard Murphy Hospice House, 1109 S. Chestnut, Hammond, LA 70403.
