Isabelle enjoyed both leisure time and always stayed hard at work. While she spent her down time tending to her garden or crocheting at home, she took her secretary career around the country. Starting in the 1960s, she served as the executive secretary for the Mayor of Annapolis until heading to the Virgin Islands, furthering her career, this time as office manager of a Suisse watch maker company. She then spent seventeen years as executive secretary to a contractor at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Though dedicated to her work, she never forgot to stop and take time to do those things she enjoyed, while of course, staying an active member in her church and community.
The family extends their gratitude to the Hospice of Baton Rouge and Amera of Denham Springs for the love, care, and affection they showed to their mother.
