Jacqueline Schriber

February 8, 1932 — November 14, 2022

Jacqueline “Jackie” Braud Schriber peacefully passed away on November 14, 2022. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother known as “Honey” by her grandchildren. Jackie was the 1950 valedictorian of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge. She enrolled in LSU, was a dance instructor, worked at Gulf States Utilities, Capital Bank and Guaranty Bank, and was one of the first employees at Louisiana Lottery. She was a 40-year member of The Chapel on the Campus. Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, cooking, tending her garden, and her dog Napa.

She is survived by her four daughters: Tonni (Stephen) McCollister, Terri (Richard) Simpson, Traci (Brian) May, and Trudi Schriber. Jackie loved her eight grandchildren: Daniel (Paige) Simpson, Meggie (Caleb) Harlan, Lauren (Arthur) Ewing, Chris May (KayIn Graphia), Sara (Max) Miller, Katie McCollister, Joshua Simpson, and Emily (David) Goldsmith, six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Lillie Robeau Braud and Adam Joseph Braud, and her brothers, Adam “Jay” Braud and Glenn Braud.
