James Comeaux, Jr.

James C. Comeaux Jr., 52, a resident of French Settlement, passed away on September 4th, 2022.

He was born and raised in Scott, Louisiana. Attended Caren Cro and later worked with Hwy Transport. He was married to Jennifer Comeaux for 25 years.

James C. Comeaux Jr. is survived by his beloved spouse Jennifer Comeaux, son Lucas Montelaro and his wife Rachel Montelaro, daughter, Samantha Fontenot and husband Jeremy Fontenot. His surviving brothers Nelson and Norman Tauzin, Paul Guidry, Carnel and Robert Comeaux; proceeding in death Wallace and Gerald Tauzin. His surviving sisters Sheryl Pugh and Diane Comeaux. Grandchildren Michelle Montelaro, Bryton Montelaro, Raven Montelaro, Laura Kae Montelaro, John Geiger, Lia Montelaro, Chelsey Fontenot, Caitlyn (KK) Fontenot, Cailey Fontenot, and great grandchildren Isabella (Izzy) Tripp, Emma Montelaro, and Rayne Cedotal, as well with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father James Carol Comeaux and grandparents Dula Broussard Comeaux and Hervillien. His mother Bernice Guidry Comeaux and grandparents Ozelia Lormand and Abel Guidry.
