James Mazilly, Jr.

Jim, 63, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 4:10 pm. He was born in Dequincy, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Jim loved his friends, family, and horses.

He is survived by two daughters, Ally Carlson and husband Todd, and Bailey Lovell mother, Juanita H. Mazilly sisterinlaw, Angee Mazilly and three grandchildren, Caden Carlson, Larkin Carlson, and Nathan Gottschalk. Preceded in death by his father, James Allen Mazilly, Sr. and brother, Bill Mazilly.

Visiting hours will be observed at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 5805 Jones Creek Rd., Baton Rouge, on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 2:00 pm until service time. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm, conducted by Dr. Chuck Lowman. Interment will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 10:00 am Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy, LA.
