James Warfel

James H. Warfel, age 81, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016.

James retired from the Electrical Wholesale Business and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

James is survived by his wife, Shirley Michiels Warfel; daughters, Gail Landry and husband Tony, Karen Rocker, and Gwen Mahon; grandchildren, Chris Mayeaux and wife Tausha, Henry and wife Linda, Kailey and Maggie Rocker; and great-grandchildren, Christian and Amelya Mayeaux, and Guy Henry Rocker.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Clyde Warfel, Sr. and Mildred Bedora Hockman; sister, Elaine Moore; and brother, Oscar Clyde Warfel, Jr.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Ln, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James' name to St. Patrick Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
