Jane Wooley

Jane Wooley, age 81, a resident of East Baton Rouge, passed away on August 10, 2022.

Jane and her husband Lynn began their family in Dallas Texas before moving to Massachusetts and making roots with the Burlington Church of Christ. After living in Massachusetts for 47 years, they moved to Baton Rouge to live out their days together. Jane was a wife, mother, friend, artist, inspirer, and believer. She touched every life she encountered in a special and meaningful way.

Jane is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lynn Wooley; son, David Wooley (Stephanie); daughter in law, Jennifer Wooley; sister, Kay Roberts; grandchildren, Amy Bertleff, Sarah Giasullo, Rachel Wooley, Dylan McConkey, Teagan McConkey and Thomas Wooley; and great grandchildren, Eliza Bertleff, Daniel Giasullo, and Thomas Giasullo.

She is preceded in death by her son, Rusyl Wooley; her grandson, Michael Wooley; her parents Earl and May Reagan; and her brother, Richard Reagan.

Visiting hours will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on August 16, 2022 from 9:30-11:00am until services starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial in Plaquemine, LA.

The family of Jane Wooley wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the people who loved and supported her during her last days.
