Janice Mcarthur

Janice Swaggerty McArthur, age 86, a resident of Baton Rouge and Denham Springs, LA, passed away on December 6, 2022 peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Janice was born in Chattanooga, TN, and also lived in Covington, LA.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Biossate and Penny Weber (Frank); son, Henry, Jr. “Biff”; grandchildren, Brandi and Brooke Weber; great-grandchildren, Cannon and Paxton Hutchinson; sisters, Liz Swaggerty, Rena McMickens, Lou Frye, and Loretta McDaniel; and brother, Jimmy Swaggerty.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Capt. Henry McArthur, Sr.; mother and father, Beatrice and Leonard Swaggerty; brothers, Marlin, Gerald, and Bobby Swaggerty; and son-in-law, Vernon Biossat.

The viewing and services will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory on December 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. A brief graveside committal will be held on December 12, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the mausoleum.

She will be greatly missed by countless family and friends.
