Janice Watson

Janice Lane Watson, 75, of Jarreau, passed away on July 22, 2016 in Baton Rouge, La.

Janice was born in Baton Rouge to Jimmy & Ethel Stevens on September 8, 1940. She married the love of her life for 58 years, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her husband, Robert Watson Sr. (Bob); daughter, Lorie Weeks (Larry), Robby Watson (Kathy), and Tommy Watson (Frieda); sister, Betty Jewel Crais, granddaughter, Kacie Luckett (Derek); grandson, Travis Weeks; grandson, Kyle Watson (April); grandsons; Jacob & Jase Watson; granddaughter, Ericka Watson; grandson, Tommy Watson Jr.; great-grandchildren, Dalton & Maycee Luckett, Madison Watson & Talon Perron & numerous nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy & Ethel Stevens; brothers, Butch & JT Stevens; and great-grandson, Hunter Perron.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Watson, Chad Stevens, Jim Holladay, Jim Stevens, Darryl Stevens & Sam Stevens.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Keith Steven.

Visitation will be will held on Monday, July 25, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 9:00 am until service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
