Jeanette Marie Dupuy Mire, age 81, a resident of Williamsburg Senior Living in Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on December 15, 2017.

Jeanette was born November 5, 1936 to Percy and Henrietta Dupuy. She was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and attended Louisiana State University. Jeanette was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and also a member of the 3rd Tuesday Organ Club. She retired as an accountant from the Louisiana Department of Revenue.

She is survived by her brother, Roy J. Dupuy, Sr.; her sister, Patricia D. Schroeder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Mire; her mother; Henrietta Hebert Dupuy; her father, Percy A. Dupuy, Sr.; her brother, Percy A. Dupuy, Jr.; and her sister, Doris T. Dupuy.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, with praying of the rosary at 7:00pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA from 1:00pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

As her great-niece, Katie expressed: "We are definitely going to miss spending time with the lady who knew best how to spoil us, socialize us, serenade us, and feed us… all in the matter of a day."
