Jerry Simmons

Jerry P Simmons, 75, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on July 13th, 2022.

Born in Abbeville, LA, graduate of Baton Rouge High School, class of 1965. He worked for the National Hansen's Disease Center for over 30 years, first through LSU, then through the federal government. He enjoyed LSU baseball.

Jerry is survived by his daughters Jennifer Simmons and Michelle Simmons, grandchildren Tyler Wolfkill and Lane Wolfkill, and his great-granddaughter Poppy Wolfkill.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Simmons, his mother Carmelite Simmons and his father J.P. Simmons.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven on July 30th from 10 am -11am and gravesite service following at Resthaven.
