Joan Liebert
February 18, 1932 — January 8, 2022
Joan Carter Liebert, age 89, a native of Creole, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on January 8th, 2022. Joan graduated from Creole High School in 1951. She worked as a secretary for LSU-Agriculture Department, Charity Hospital of New Orleans, and State Police Training Academy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Liebert; her mother, Jeanne Francois Dumestre; father, Harold David Carter; and her son, Bruce Carter Liebert.
Joan is survived by her son, Scott Steven Liebert and several close friends and family.
Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
