Joanne Durbin

October 8, 1932 — July 16, 2021

Joanne Falconer Durbin, 88 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 16, 2021, she entered this world on October 8, 1932, born to Dawson and Ethel Falconer.

She was a member of Walker Baptist Church in Walker, La.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bankston, and sons Ned Durbin and Dawson Durbin; 4 grandchildren, Lacey Bankston, Matthew Bankston, Danielle Thurber and Tyler Durbin; great-granddaughters Addison Bankston, Melody Bankston, Lola Bankston and Riley Thurber; brother William D Falconer Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Durbin and grandson Jacob Bankston.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Resthaven Gardens of Memory at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 12:00 PM until the Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 pm.

The graveside service and burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory
