John Guidry

John Edward Big John Guidry died on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at his home in Abbeville. He was 53 years old, born on March 3, 1956 in Abbeville and a retired musician. A memorial visitation will be at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Old Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 10:30am until Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am. Conducted by Rev. Michael Collins. There will be a private inurnment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Wirth Guidry 4 sisters and a brotherinlaw, Carol Ann Guidry Angela G. and Paul D. Cooper Cindy G. Santangelo and Jackie Guidry 1 niece, Mikel Santangelo and 3 nephews, Keith and Micah Santangelo and Christopher Romero. He was preceded in death by his father, John Woodley Guidry. The family sends a special thank you to Michael Noto and all the devoted friends and family who cared for him throughout his life.
