John Ciro Gulino, of Prairieville, Louisiana, passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, John enjoyed a rewarding career in the communications industry. Never one to stop learning, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration later in life. After retiring, his love for people led him to a second career in real estate, where he found joy in helping people find a place to call home.
John is survived by the love of his life, Marian Lombardo Gulino, and by her children whom he lovingly welcomed as his own, Darren (Kristie) Esteve, Stacey (Ryan) Esteve Hoyt, and Brian (Claire) Esteve; Brother, Joe (Kelly) Gulino; and grandchildren Savannah (Logan) Esteve Morreale, Michael and William Esteve, and Noah and Lucas Esteve. He is also survived by his Louisiana aunts, Virgina Dunn and Loretta Gulino, and several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Ciro Gulino, and his brother, James “Jim” Gulino. He is survived by Jim’s wife, Donna Gulino.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on August 17, 2025, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Donald J. Musso, celebrant. The service will conclude at the funeral home.
