John Mccann

John Larry McCann, a loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 62 on Friday, September 10, 2021.  John was born August 6, 1959 in Baton Rouge, LA to LJ and Mildred McCann.  John fought a valiant battle and kept a brave face until the end.  He worked in construction for over 40 years and was considered by many to be a master carpenter.  He loved football, fishing, and most of all will be remembered for his undying love of family.

John was preceded in death by both parents.  He is survived by his wife Lolita; children, Chris McCann (Emily), Leanne Brown (Brandon), Mandy Withers (Luke), Kylie McCann, Rose McCann; and his six beloved grandchildren, Liv, Sara, Caleb, Carter, Max and Sadie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network(PanCAN).
