Johnnie Mae Hall

Johnnie Mae Hall passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at the age of 90. She was born September 5, 1933, in Arcadia, Louisiana to Doyle Conville and Bertha Crowell Conville. Johnnie retired as a minister with the Assembly of God Church, bringing comfort, hope, and a message of salvation to countless members during her tenure.

She attended Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge where she served in the Women's Ministry, Young at Heart Ministry and Widow’s Ministry. Johnnie enjoyed shopping, singing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 54 years, Forrest Hall; her brothers Lee Roy, Doyle James and John Conville; and her beloved grandson, Joshua Hall. She is survived by her devoted children, Rhonda Rasbury (Jerry) and Cliff Hall (Julie); and her beloved grandchildren Shannon Rasbury, Dana Chakravarti, Lacey Montague, Jena Rasbury, Renee Collie, Cliff Hall, II and Aaron Hall; and great-grandchildren Ava Rasbury, Victoria Chakravarti, Luka Chakravarti, Isabella Montague, Mila Montague, Dean Collie, Jace Collie, Kinsley Hubik, Aleyah Hubik, and Axton Hubik. She is also survived by her sisters Sylvia Kinman, Brenda Chamberlain and Bonnie Townley and her brother Leonard Conville; her dear friends that were like family, the Melaras and the Rentzes; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Healing Place Church, 19202 Highland Road in Baton Rouge. A Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
