Joseph "Conrad" Brown

Joseph “Conrad” Brown returned home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the age of 85 years. Conrad was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Edgar Lawrence and Enola Langlois Brown on March 24, 1938. After graduating from high school, he married the love of his life, Agnes Cecilia Bonaccorso Brown. They were married for 60 wonderful years and raised four strong children together.

Conrad worked as a milkman for Kleinpeter Dairy for over 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and riding dirt bikes. He also loved watching the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints playing football, but what he loved most was spending time and making memories with his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Conrad is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Agnes Cecilia Bonaccorso Brown; parents, Edgar Lawrence and Enola Langlois Brown; daughter, Stephanie Meaux; sisters, Helen Guillory and Carolyn Rogers; brother, Edgar Brown, Jr., and son-in-law, Francis Meaux.

He is survived by his sons, Kenny Brown (Stephanie), Randy Brown (Nancy), and Kelly Brown (Marsha); brother, Danny Brown; eleven grandchildren, Chelsea, Courtney, Kayla, Kyle, Joey, Shelby, Kimber, Jonathan, Justis, Madison, and Caleb; and sixteen great-grandchildren, Haley, Briggs, Finnlee, Ivy, Nova, Vin, Vega, Parker, Maize, Maddix, Liam, Julian, Dexter, Carmen, Alaric, and Elias.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials in honor of Conrad be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, Louisiana.

The funeral service for Joseph “Conrad” Brown will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, at 11:00 AM, officiated by Deacon Michael Parker of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A visitation will be held beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
