Joseph Wilkinson Iii

Joseph “Bubba” Wilkinson III, a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather passed away at his home in Denham Springs, LA on January 6, 2022.  He was a lifelong hunter and fisherman; he enjoyed cooking, coaching his kids, and spending time with his family.  He was known for his joking and witty personality.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Wilkinson; his seven Wilkinson children, Jody (Lisa), Bruce, Robert, Brenda, Michael, Duane, and Chris (Megan); grandchildren, Ashley, Cory, Nicole, Austin, Taylor, Gage, Brittany, Hunter, Chris, Jacob, Judy, Christian, Jade, Kelsey, Aidan, Ty, Eli, Brooklyn, Jayleigh, Lane, and Charlee; great-grandchildren, Braydon, Harley, Kara, Vivian, Brantley, Kase, Cole, Charlotte, Benson, Kash, Navy, Daniel, and Bailey; stepfather, Ronnie Jackson; sisters, Patsy Poole Mercer, Jean Treadaway (Mike), and Debra Theriot; and his furry dog companion, Tobi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph “Bill” Wilkinson Jr. and Marie Jackson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, W.E. and Jerry Bates.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
