Joyce Millin

Joyce Felps Branscum Millin passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 91.

She was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and Spencer Business College. Ms. Millin was retired from Commercial Properties as a bookkeeper with 23 years of service. She also worked for Millin Enterprises until her retirement in 2014.

Ms. Millin is preceded in death by her first husband of 31 years James Austin Branscum, Sr., her parents Irwin L. Felps, Sr. and Nancy Felps, her son James Austin Branscum, Jr., and her sister Nerna Lee Felps.

She is survived by her second husband Thomas Millin; son John S. Branscum and wife Barbara of Baton Rouge, LA; four grandchildren Nancy B. Robert and husband Brian of Geismer, LA, Stephen J. Branscum and wife Lacee of St. Francisville, LA, John S. Branscum, Jr. of Birmingham, AL and Jessica B. Washington and husband Chase of Baton Rouge, LA; six great grandchildren, Ava, Luke, Elliot and Kate Robert, Jackson Branscum, and Xander Washington; daughter-in-law Darlene Branscum of Greenwell Springs, LA, brother Irwin L. Felps, Jr. and wife Brenda of Central, LA, niece Amy F. Stevens and husband Gene of Central City, LA and nephew Christopher Felps of Central City, LA; four stepdaughters Cheryl Millin Ard and husband Frank, Nelda M. Clouatre and husband Chris, Stephany Jackson, and Carolyn Hofmann and husband Jeff; step grandchildren Joel, Jacob and Johnathan Clouatre, Beau, Todd, and Luke Jackson; step great-grandchildren River, Skye, Rain, Stone, Willow, Luna, Noah, and Ian.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Resthaven Funeral Home from 1:30 PM until time of services at 2:30 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services to be officiated by Brian Robert. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Ms. Millin was a member of Broadmoor Methodist Church.
