Judy Hinshaw

A retired employee with the East Baton Rouge Parish school system, she died Monday, June 1, 2009, at the Butterfly Wing with Hospice of Baton Rouge at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. She was 67, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of North St. Paul, Minn. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, June 4, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Ben Bahr, pastor. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, Ragan J. Hinshaw; daughter, Kelly Borland and husband David; son, Taylor Hinshaw; and grandson, Will Borland. Preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Viviane Waskow; sister, Dianne Whaley; and brother, Doug Waskow. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Altrussa.
