Judy Rundell

Judy Gauthier Rundell went peacefully to our Lord in Heaven at 5:08 PM on May 1, 2022. She was born in Hamburg and grew up in Moreauville, Louisiana. She was an active member and officer in FHA and was a high school cheerleader. She moved to Baton Rouge in 1965 and called Baton Rouge her home.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruffin L. and Lillian (Fontanille) Gauthier; sister, Beverly Jean Bohrer, and Ronald Gauthier.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Marshall Wayne Rundell; her children, Chad Wayne Rundell of Watson, and Sherina Lynn Wall of Dutchtown; grandchildren, Joshua, Gabriel, and Payton Rundell, Alexis, Ali, and Ashli Wall. She is also survived by her brother, Havard R. Gauthier of Bossier City; brother-in-law, Stanley Bohrer of Alexandria; sister-in-law, Jerrie Ortego Gauthier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Judy was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a member of the Central Lions Club. Her passion was researching her family’s ancestry. All services will be at Resthaven Funeral Home on Jefferson Highway. Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 beginning at 12:00 PM until services at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Josh, Gabe, Payton, Chad, Havard, and David. Honorary pallbearers will be Alexis, Ali, and Ashli Wall.
