Karen Leigh McKenzie Landry, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 65. Karen was born on August 5, 1960, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Karen was a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother whose kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. In her professional life, Karen found fulfillment as an HR Accountant, dedicating herself to her work with patience and generosity. However, her greatest joy came from her role as a mother, grandmother, and wife. She nurtured her family with love and wisdom, instilling in them the values of compassion and resilience.
Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Gary Eric Landry; daughter, Keeleigh Landry Sarraillé; son-in-law, Cody André Sarraillé; brother, Mike Bondio; and granddaughter, Aurélie Michel Sarraillé.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby J. McKenzie, Sr. and Barbara Ann McKenzie, and Patsy Ruth Bondio; and brother, Bobby J. McKenzie Jr.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
