Kathryn U. Miller

Kathryn U. Miller passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 96. She was born on May 6, 1929, in Nicholasville, Kentucky, to Major and Stella Upton.

Kathy worked as a realtor for most of her life and was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church.

Kathy is survived by her children, Rita Shelton (Jr.), Jane Peak (Mike), Alan Miller (Erin) and Jeff Miller (Kim); sister, Nancy McKinney (Gerald); grandchildren, Brandi Juneau, Lindsey Duval, Scott Shelton, Chase Shelton, Alison Chehotsky, Dustin Miller, Brittany Miller, Mathew Peak, and Daniel Peak; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Quinn Miller; parents, Major and Stella Tipton Upton; sister, Dee Masters; and brother, Cecil Upton.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, at 12:00 PM.
