Kenneth Badeaux, Sr.

Kenneth J. Badeaux, Sr. departed this life on August 2, 2016 in the arms of his wife of 55 years, Sandra. He is survived by daughter, Teresa (Terry) Badeaux, of Denham Springs, La.; son, John David Badeaux, Sr. & wife Sharon of Denham Springs, La.; two brothers, Denis Badeaux & wife Laura of Plaquemine, La. & Carroll Badeaux; double first cousin Gayle Badeaux of Plaquemine, La.

Three grandchildren, Jennifer (Jenni) Badeaux, Michelle (Mikki) Cavalier & her husband John Cavalier; J. D. Badeaux, Jr. & his wife Katie; three great grandchildren Noah, Parker, & Luca Badeaux; nephews Jimmy Badeaux, Michael Badeaux, & nieces Julie Dostal, & Jeanne Carnline, plus numerous other nieces, nephews, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by son, Kenneth J. Badeaux, Jr., parents,William J. Badeaux & Florence (Pappy) Badeaux; sister Mercedes Garlington; brother, Joseph William (Moose) Badeaux; double first cousin, Peter Eugene Badeaux (Wheel); & Godfather Jesse Melancon.

He was employed by Ethyl Corporation for many years but retired from BASF Corporation in 1999. He loved sports, especially LSU football & baseball. He was an avid golfer.

Arrangements are Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church 15615 Jefferson Hwy Baton Rouge, La. 70817. Visitation from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Memorial mass at 11:00 am. Refreshments following the mass in the St. Johns Room at Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
