Kenneth “Ken” D. Howard, born on August 31, 1955, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the age of 70.
Ken was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He worked various jobs over the years and retiring as President from Telco, keeping his employees in line with government guidelines. Ken always enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels he sees at home, and everything about nature. He was a kind-hearted man and was one of a kind. Ken never met a stranger. The thing Ken loved most about life was being married to the love of his life, Vicky. He cherished her over the years and never told her no. He loved her endlessly.
Ken is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vicky L. Howard; sister, Kayla Berger (Mark); brothers, Russell Howard (Ann) and Brian Howard (Heather); nieces, Kelly Berger Springer (Joseph), Kristi Marionneaux (Shane), Tabitha Howard, and Naomi Howard Gonzales (James); nephews, Austin Howard, Braden Howard, Joseph Howard, and Benjamin Howard; great nieces and nephews, Collin and Sophia Springer, Isaac and James Marionneaux, and Sarah and David Gonzales; Michael and daughter-in-law, Crystal Ikerd, and grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Joe Moody of Roan Oak, VA, John and Billy Moody of Albany, LA; sister-in-law, Ellen Wheat of Bogalusa, LA; Pat Golden of Bogalusa, LA; and nieces, Kim, Kali and Ali Golden of Bogalusa, LA; and close family friends, John and Patty Courville, Dave Hanlin, Ken Sharp, Doug Hanlin, Peggy Parker, and Susan Morris.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Juanita Howard; and nephew, Caleb Austin.
