Larry Lane Blackburn, Jr.

Larry Lane Blackburn, Jr., a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the age of 42. He was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Ponchatoula, LA.

He enjoyed movies, art, artists, fantasy football, and activism. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Elizabeth Lea Spilberger Blackburn, children, Odin Leahy and wife Kelly and Piper Lane Blackburn; parents, Larry Lane Blackburn, Sr. and Dara Elizabeth Blackburn; brother, Saxon D’Aubin and his wife Julianna; niece, Poette; and nephew, Nicolas.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Kiefer; father-in-law, Robert “Lonny” Spilberger.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
