Laura Laurie Anne Fontenot, 49, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge, died on Sunday, July 27, 2008. Visitation at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Thursday, July 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes Friday, Aug. 1, from noon until service at 1 p.m. Burial in St. Margaret's Cemetery, Albany. Survived by her husband of 32 years, Brian Fontenot; two sons, Brian BJ and Jason Fontenot; brother, George Roppolo; and two sisters, Patsy Lucas and Tyra Ridgel. Preceded in death by her father, John Roppolo; and mother, Judith Roppolo-Carpenter.
