Laura Nordstrom

Laura Mae Nordstrom, age 82, a native of Morganza, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on March 1, 2017.

She loved fishing, sewing, cooking, and her dogs. Laura was a Pink Lady for over 25 years at Baton Rouge General Midcity.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Michele Aubert and husband Paul; her son, Trey Nordstrom; six grandchildren, Melissa Decker, Rachel Devall, Brandi Hennings, Payton Nordstrom, Kendell Nordstrom, and Nicholas Nordstrom; and her four great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gustaf Arvid Nordstrom, Jr.; her parents, Asa and Mae Sackett; and her sister, Ima Dale Plauche.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy, 445 Marquette Ave., Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 9:00 am until mass at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
