Laura Webb

Laura Lynn Webb, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 69. Laura was born on March 19, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Donald H. and Jean McDonald Webb. Laura dedicated over 20 years of her life as an office manager at BREC’s Magnolia Mound, where her warm spirit and hard work made a lasting impact on those around her. She was known for her kindness, compassion, sense of humor, and a delightful feistiness that could light up any room. 

In her free time, Laura enjoyed knitting, creating treasured sweaters for those she loved and even doll clothes that made their way to companies worldwide. She had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially her cherished cats. Friends and family will always remember her exceptional cooking, particularly her famed Mexican lasagna, which brought joy to countless gatherings. 

Laura is preceded in death by her parents, Donald H. Webb and Jean McDonald Webb; and her brother, Randy Webb. She is survived by her beloved significant other of over 26 years, Erin Evans; and a loving circle of friends including Dana Chaisson, Tim Kirkwood, Lisa Rogers, Amanda Norred, and many more who held her dear. 

We invite all who knew and loved Laura to join us as we commemorate her beautiful life. A visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the funeral services begin at 11:00 AM.
