Leo Raub, Jr.

A resident of Denham Springs, he died Monday, May 5, 2008, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. He was 86, a native of Cincinnati and U.S. Army veteran. Memorial service at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Larry O'Dell. Survived by his wife, Helen Pitre Raub; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth McCarthy and husband John and Margaret Helen Raub; brother, Lucien Keith Raub and wife Lois; four grandchildren, Roselyn Fontenot, Donald McCarthy, Bryan Smith and Catherine McCarthy; and three great-grandchildren, Payton Fontenot, Samuel McCarthy and Emily McCarthy. Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Leo and Aurilla J. Raub; and son, Leo G. Raub III. He was a member of the Physics Society of Southeastern Louisiana University and loved his church.
