Leola Hoffpauir

A resident of Lafayette, she died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Maison de Lafayette. She was 92, a native of Judice and a former resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, May 24, from 11 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by Deacon Jim Wax. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her daughter, Carol H. Hebert; son, Corey Hoffpauir and wife, Patty; four grandchildren, Lori DeBlieux and husband, First Lt. Richard W., serving in Iraq, Beth Hebert, Juliana Hoffpauir, Chase Hoffpauir and wife, Paige Ramsey Hoffpauir; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Ramsey Hoffpauir and Helen Ramsey Hoffpauir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis W. Hoffpauir, five sisters and a brother. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and Altar Society.
